Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting management with timely and accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Verify, allocate, and post transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation of expenses.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company procedures.
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and vendor statements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP).
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT and accounting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Armoring/Automotive or manufacturing or project-based accounting.
• Knowledge of cost control and inventory accounting.
• UAE experience is an advantage.
