We’re growing fast and looking for a reliable Accountant to manage our financial operations, supplier records, and inventory costing with precision and professionalism.

Job Summary

The Accountant will oversee all day-to-day financial transactions, manage supplier vouchers, track product costs, handle petty cash, and ensure all records comply with UAE accounting and VAT standards. This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and a good understanding of bakery or F&B operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, journal entries, and daily accounting records.
• Record supplier invoices, vouchers, and purchase entries (including chiller/freezer stock).
• Track product cost, ingredient usage, and stock movement.
• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and reports for management.
• Reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and supplier balances.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, expense control, and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with the manager on financial planning and cash flow.
• Maintain organized digital and physical records for all accounting documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience (preferably in bakery, café, or F&B industry).
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT filing and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food inventory costing and supplier reconciliation.
• Familiarity with expiration tracking and temperature-based stock management.
• Arabic communication skills are a plus.
