Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Oman, Muscat. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, store keeping , Inventory Management and compliance within Oman.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with
Omani accounting standards.
Handle payroll, VAT, and other statutory compliance as per Omani regulations.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors as needed.
Manage store keeping and Inventory activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Must have 1-2 years of accounting experience in Oman.
Strong knowledge of Omani tax laws, VAT regulations, and accounting standards.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Should have experience in Inventory and Store Keeping activities
