Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Oman, Muscat. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, store keeping , Inventory Management and compliance within Oman.

Key Responsibilities:

 Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts

receivable, and general ledger.

 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with

Omani accounting standards.

 Handle payroll, VAT, and other statutory compliance as per Omani regulations.

 Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.

 Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

 Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors as needed.

 Manage store keeping and Inventory activities.

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

 Must have 1-2 years of accounting experience in Oman.

 Strong knowledge of Omani tax laws, VAT regulations, and accounting standards.

 Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office.

 Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

 Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

 Should have experience in Inventory and Store Keeping activities
