Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and dynamic individual to join our organisation as an Accountant. Key Responsibilities -

  • Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities for process improvement and generating reports that inform sales strategy and growth objectives.
  • Apply selling skills by presenting financial solutions and insights to internal stakeholders and assisting in pricing strategies for client proposals.
  • Facilitate communication between finance, sales, and other business units to promote financial transparency and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Collaborate with auditors, regulatory bodies, and management to ensure the integrity of financial data and adherence to statutory guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex financial problems, investigating discrepancies and proposing practical solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and comprehensive financial documentation, assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Required Skills -

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, procedures, and financial reporting systems.
  • Demonstrates effective selling skills, capable of communicating value and financial insights to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, identifying root causes and delivering effective solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Highly organised with a meticulous attention to detail, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience -

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical accounting role, with a record of supporting business growth and commercial initiatives.
