Accountant

Zapegg Tax Consultant is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to join its professional team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong accounting fundamentals who can manage daily financial activities while supporting accurate reporting and compliance within a fast-paced consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Support VAT calculations, filings, and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and expense monitoring.
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within the UAE.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
