Job Opportunity: Finance Manager / Treasurer

Key Responsibilities
The Finance Manager will independently manage overall financial operations, including:
- Revenue & ERP Management: Oversee the accurate recording of all receipts and fee revenues in the ERP system; resolve unidentified receipts and reconcile accounts promptly.
- Expenditure Control: Ensure all payments, Capital Expenditure (CAPEX), and Investments follow standard protocols and are meticulously tracked.
- Compliance & Audit Readiness: Maintain comprehensive financial records for future reference, specifically ensuring readiness for HEC (Higher Education Commission) and external audits.
- Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain a robust reporting mechanism. Prepare standard reports on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual intervals, as well as ad-hoc reports for management.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Lead the preparation of annual budgets and develop modalities for variance analysis to ensure financial discipline.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for banking partners, internal university departments, and various segments of Dawat-e-Islami.
- Strategic Support: Execute specialized tasks and directives as assigned by the CFO or Director of Finance.
Eligibility & Criteria
- Education: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA Finance, M.Com, or equivalent). Professional qualifications (ACCA/ICMA/CA) are a plus.
- Experience: 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in managing large-scale financial operations, preferably within the higher education or non-profit sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP software, advanced MS Excel, and modern accounting frameworks.
- Competencies: Strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure to meet HEC and audit deadlines.
