Responsibilities

  • Receive and disburse cash and cheques accurately
  • Maintain daily cashbook and petty cash register
  • Prepare cash vouchers and ensure proper documentation
  • Deposit cash and cheques into bank accounts as instructed
  • Reconcile cash and bank transactions at the end of each day
  • Maintain records of incoming and outgoing payments
  • Assist the accounts department in basic data entry and filing
  • Generate daily and monthly cash reports for internal review
  • Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards
  • Coordinate with internal departments for payment processing and follow-ups

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
  • 3–4 years of experience in a cashier or finance/accounts role
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, ERP systems)
  • Honest, punctual, and able to handle confidential financial data

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs50,000.00 per month
