Accountant

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Certified Chartered Accountant with proven experience working with UK companies. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping and reconciliation expertise and hands-on experience using Capium software.

This role requires a proactive professional who can manage financial records accurately, ensure compliance with UK regulations, and provide reliable financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for UK-based clients
• Manage bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
• Work extensively with Capium software for accounting and compliance tasks
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax-related matters (UK standards)
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting regulations and standards
• Liaise with clients and provide financial insights where necessary

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Must be a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with UK companies
• Strong practical experience in bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Hands-on experience with Capium software
• Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
