Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with proven experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or perfume industry. The ideal candidate must have strong financial management skills, inventory accounting expertise, and the ability to handle high-volume SKU environments typical in cosmetics and fragrance businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payment follow-ups
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting for large product catalogs (SKUs, batches, expiry tracking)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and cost control measures
• Handle VAT filings, tax compliance, and audit preparation according to UAE regulations
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal departments for financial documentation
• Perform stock valuation, COGS analysis, and margin reporting for cosmetics and perfume products
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–5 years of accounting experience in beauty, cosmetics and perfume sector (required)
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and retail accounting systems
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reporting)
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling multi-brand cosmetic or perfume inventory
• Familiarity with POS integrations and e-commerce accounting
• Professional certification is an advantage
