Accountant

• Record, verify, and reconcile daily sales transactions from all branches.
• Ensure accurate posting of revenue, expenses, and journal entries in the accounting system.
• Monitor daily POS sales reports and coordinate with branch managers to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile daily cash collections, credit card settlements, and online delivery platform revenues.
• Monitor over/short reports and investigate variances.
• Verify end-of-day sales closing reports from each branch.
• Ensure proper internal controls in cash handling procedures.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate matching with purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Monitor accounts payable aging and coordinate timely payments.
• Follow up on receivables including corporate clients, catering services, and franchise partners.
• Reconcile supplier statements regularly.
• Monitor food cost, beverage cost, and overall cost of meals sold.
• Coordinate with stores and operations teams for inventory counts and stock variance analysis.
• Analyze wastage, shrinkage, and stock adjustments.
• Support implementation of inventory control procedures across branches.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Generate branch-wise performance reports and profitability analysis.
• Assist in payroll processing in coordination with HR department.
• Monitor staff overtime, allowances, and deductions.
• Review operational expenses and ensure proper allocation to each branch.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
• Work with POS, ERP, and accounting systems to ensure proper financial data integration.
