Job Title: Accountant

Department: Finance
Reports To: Finance Manager / General Manager

Job Summary:

The accountant is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations, and maintaining accurate accounting records. The role supports the organization’s financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and journals.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Handle payroll processing and WPS coordination (if required).
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial inspections.
  • Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities when required.
  • Monitor expenses and recommend cost-control measures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
