Accountant

The Role

About the Role As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing day?to?day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. You will support budgeting, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial analysis while working closely with internal teams to maintain smooth financial processes. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable. Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment schedules. Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost?control activities. Process payroll data and coordinate with HR where required. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and internal departments as needed. Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems. Provide general financial support to the Finance Manager or senior leadership.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in an accounting or finance role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and a professional, trustworthy approach. Analytical mindset with a commitment to accuracy.
