Accountant

Zapegg Tax Consultant is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our professional finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a finance professional who has strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation procedures, and financial reporting, and who is committed to maintaining accuracy and compliance in a dynamic consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and manage general ledger accounts.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage VAT calculations, filing, and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor company cash flow.
• Assist clients with bookkeeping and financial documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required reports and documents.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a tax consultancy firm.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
