Accountant

• Job Summary:

-We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our finance team. -The candidate will manage financial reporting, tax compliance, and general accounting functions while ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

• Key Responsibilities:

-Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
-Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
-Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
-Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
-Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
-Assist in the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance throughout the year.
-Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
-Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
-Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
-Stay current with accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
-Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
-Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
-Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance regulations.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
