Kidisthenics Fitness Company is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Accountant to support the financial operations of our growing organization. This is a remote position that plays a critical part in maintaining the financial health of our organization while helping us expand services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The Accountant will oversee key financial processes including billing, payroll support, bookkeeping, and financial reporting while working closely with leadership to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing invoicing and accounts receivable, including billing for 300+ clients
  • Process and track client billing and authorizations
  • Support payroll calculations and approvals
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records
  • Prepare weekly financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Cash Flow statements
  • Assist with budgeting and financial projections
  • Manage and track invoices for 15+ vendors
  • Support annual tax preparation
  • Assist with employee onboarding and HR-related administrative support
  • Provide occasional administrative support related to finance and operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business finance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll processes
  • Experience managing invoices, accounts receivable, and vendor payments
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple financial processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in healthcare, social services, or nonprofit financial operations
  • Experience with Regional Center billing systems (particularly the San Diego Regional Center and Alta California Regional Center) strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience supporting financial operations in a mission-driven organization

Compensation & Benefits

  • This is a full-time salaried position with an annual salary range of $75,000 to $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Eligible for company-sponsored benefits in accordance with planned terms and waiting periods
  • This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime pay
