Accountant

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial information, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. Additionally, you will liaise with internal and external auditors, assist with tax filings, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, reports, and other financial documents.

Transaction Management: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, process invoices, and ensure timely payments and collections.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, monitor variances, and provide analysis of financial performance.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.

Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, interpret trends, and provide recommendations for improvements.

Payroll: Prepare the monthly payroll and allocate it to the project cost and expenses.

Qualifications and Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles in Qatar. Experience in a similar industry or environment is advantageous.

Skills:Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.Proficiency in accounting softwareExcellent analytical skills with attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.Familiarity with Qatar's regulatory and taxation environment is a plus.

Language: Proficiency in English is required.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
