Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should be organized, trustworthy, and capable of handling multiple accounting tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting entries (sales, purchases, expenses)
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Handle Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Perform bank reconciliations regularly
  • Monitor and manage petty cash
  • Prepare invoices and follow up on payments
  • Assist in monthly and yearly financial reports
  • Support inventory tracking and valuation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
  • Coordinate with management for financial planning and control

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3–4 years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Excel)
  • Good understanding of VAT and financial regulations in Oman
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred (Optional but Advantage)

  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA / CA – Part Qualified or Completed)
  • Experience in retail / fashion / trading industry
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
