Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should be organized, trustworthy, and capable of handling multiple accounting tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting entries (sales, purchases, expenses)
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Handle Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations regularly
- Monitor and manage petty cash
- Prepare invoices and follow up on payments
- Assist in monthly and yearly financial reports
- Support inventory tracking and valuation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Coordinate with management for financial planning and control
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3–4 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Excel)
- Good understanding of VAT and financial regulations in Oman
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred (Optional but Advantage)
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA / CA – Part Qualified or Completed)
- Experience in retail / fashion / trading industry
- Strong communication and reporting skills
