Accountant (Omani Only)

1. Voucher writing and postings (defined as verifying, reconciling and posting all expense related journals e.g. Petty cash, supplier invoices etc.) too accounting system (currently Tally)
Payroll and settlement process

2. Daily bank reconciliation

3. Knowledge of Omani labor law – with respect to vacation / end of service and payroll calculations

4. Double entry booking keeping

5. Assures compliance with national, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws.

6. Complies with national, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation enforcing adherence to requirements. •

7. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. •

8. Liaising with manager, staff, customers, suppliers, auditor, lawyers and tax advisers. •

9. Executing important documentation on behalf of the company. •

10. Leading on issues essential to business performance such as negotiation of contracts, finance, accounting, insurance and property. •

11. Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.

12. Issue project cost reports for review and approval.

13. To Managing expenses and payments of Recruitments, legal papers and other fee.

14. Review and give financial advice on new contracts.

15. Tracking the contracts progress and collection of payment terms and conditions.

16. Coordinating with the external auditors for auditing and tax purpose.

  • Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
