Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant with strong accounting knowledge and experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and accounting software, along with the ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare VAT/tax returns and coordinate with external auditors when required.
• Monitor cash flow and support management with financial analysis and reports.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Assist with internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with VAT, taxation, and financial regulations.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or Zoho Books.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
