Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Doha, Qatar. The Accountant will oversee financial records, maintain accurate ledgers, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, budgeting, and collaborating with internal teams for financial reporting. The role also involves ensuring timely audits and supporting senior management with data-driven financial insights.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial recordkeeping, ledger management, and bank reconciliation
• Experience in preparing financial statements and managing accounts payable/receivable
• Familiarity with accounting software (Zoho, Odoo) and MS Excel
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are considered a plus
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
