Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of accounting experience, particularly within the construction sector, and will be responsible for ensuring smooth financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring that all payments and invoices are processed in a timely manner.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow using.
• Assist in managing and tracking project budgets, ensuring expenses are aligned with forecasts and tracked effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to analyze and report on the financial performance of construction projects.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns and tax filings.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Assist in audits and prepare documentation required for audit purposes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of proven accounting experience, in the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using ERP software and excel for financial reporting.
• Understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• accounting in construction industry in UAE: 2 years (Preferred)
