Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Handle general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations and company policies
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
  • Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audits
  • Review and process payroll, expenses, and tax-related filings
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
  • Supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of accounting experience (GCC experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
