We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong financial background to support multiple clients in a remote, part-time to full-time capacity. This role goes beyond basic bookkeeping and requires someone who can manage full-cycle accounting, ensure clean financials, and serve as a reliable resource for day-to-day client financial operations.

The ideal candidate is highly proficient in QuickBooks Online, comfortable handling payroll and bill pay, and capable of working independently while maintaining accuracy across multiple entities.

What You’ll Own

• End-to-end accounting operations for a portfolio of clients, including bookkeeping, payroll, bill pay, invoicing, and sales tax filings
• Manage and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
• Process payroll and oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor management and bill payments
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and support month-end close and financial reporting
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely responses, guidance, and process improvement recommendations
• Monitor client financial health and proactively identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and outcomes
• Ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies while maintaining clean, audit-ready books

What You Bring

• 2–5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in multi-client or outsourced environments.
• Strong expertise in QuickBooks Online and cloud-based accounting tools (e.g., BILL, Gusto, Ramp, Reach Reporting, Google Drive)
• Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting across multiple clients, including monthly close, payroll, bill pay, and financial reporting
• Ability to manage a high volume of work across multiple clients with strong organization and time management
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and implement structure where needed
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and dependability
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
