Accountant – Signmax Oman (Branch Role)About Us

Signmax is a growing trading and distribution company specializing in signage materials, advertising supplies, and related products across the GCC. As part of our expansion in Oman, we are looking for a skilled Accountant to manage branch-level financial operations while coordinating with our UAE head office.

Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting activities for the Oman branch, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth financial coordination with the Finance Manager in UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities including:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• General Ledger (GL)
• Bank Reconciliations
• Maintain daily accounting entries and ensure timely reporting to UAE head office
• Prepare monthly financial reports and submit to Finance Manager (UAE)
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and branch-level budgeting
• Ensure compliance with Oman VAT regulations and assist in VAT filing
• Track receivables and support credit control activities
• Assist with audits, internal reporting, and financial analysis
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and procurement teams for smooth financial workflow

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com mandatory)
• 3–4 years of hands-on accounting experience (preferably in trading or project-based companies)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT compliance (Oman/UAE preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Odoo ERP experience is a strong advantage)
• Good understanding of receivables management and credit control
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High level of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines

Reporting Structure

• Reports directly to Finance Manager – UAE
• Works closely with Oman branch operations and sales team

Pay: RO200.000 - RO300.000 per month
