Accountant

Job Responsibilities :

-Prepare and review monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

-Analyze financial data, identify trends and provide recommendations to senior management on cost-saving and revenue enhancement opportunities.

-Oversee the preparation of financial reports for project management teams, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting and cost control.

-Supervise and manage accounts payable/receivable teams to ensure timely payments and collections.

-Ensure that supplier and client transactions are recorded accurately and resolved promptly.

-Ensure the internal financial controls are in place and adhered to, preventing errors or fraud.

-Knowledge in VAT filing and corporate tax compliance.

-Monitor cash flow, ensuring that there are sufficient funds to meet the company’s operations and financial needs.

-Prepare and review cash flow statements to ensure adequate liquidity.

-Coordinate with external auditors for annual auditors for annual audits and ensure that all requested documentation is provided.

-Submission of tax returns and ensure timely filing in accordance with UAE tax regulations.

-Implementation of new accounting software's.

-Generate monthly profit and loss report.

Qualifications & Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

-Minimum 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry or a similar field

-In-depth knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT and tax laws.

-Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

-Strong knowledge of Bookkeeping, P&L Statement, payables, receivables and reconciliations.
