Accountant

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations in our manufacturing unit. You’ll own financial reporting, cost controls, and compliance while working closely with production, procurement, and audit teams.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Closing

○ Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities

○ Prepare financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports

○ Ensure timely MIS reporting to management

Cost & Inventory Accounting

○ Monitor product costing, BOMs, and variance analysis

○ Track raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory

○ Coordinate monthly stock counts and reconcile with ERP records

Accounts Payable/Receivable & Banking

○ Supervise vendor payments, customer receipts, and aging analysis

○ Manage bank reconciliations, LCs, and import-related documentation

○ Monitor cash flow and forecast working capital needs

Systems & Controls

○ Strengthen internal controls and SOPs in a manufacturing environment

○ Work with ERP systems — SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar

○ Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-reduction initiatives

Requirements

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / ACCA / CA-Inter
• Experience: 3–4 years in manufacturing sector accounting
• Skills: Strong command of Excel, ERP, cost accounting, tax laws
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, team player with leadership potential
