Accountant (Audit Firm Experience Required)

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in audit firms to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and audit procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable standards
• Assist in audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Perform reconciliations and financial analysis
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an audit firm
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
• Experience with accounting software (preferably Odoo)
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred:

• Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Experience in advisory and reporting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
