Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial records, transactions, and reporting of the car dealership showroom. This role ensures accuracy in bookkeeping, compliance with accounting standards, and smooth financial operations to support sales, service, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records of daily showroom transactions including vehicle sales, service income, accessories, and spare parts.
• Record and reconcile customer payments, bank deposits, credit facilities, and financing transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and credit notes in coordination with the sales and service departments.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements, dealer financing accounts, and manufacturer statements.
• Monitor and report on showroom expenses, overheads, and operational costs.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and other tax regulations, preparing and submitting returns on time.
• Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the showroom.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably in the automotive or retail sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Experience in ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or showroom-specific software).
• Good understanding of VAT and tax compliance in [specify country/UAE].
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a car dealership / automotive showroom accounting role.
• Knowledge of vehicle financing, insurance, and registration-related accounting.
• Familiarity with automotive stock inventory management.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
