About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the end-to-end accounting function of our private limited company. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of corporate accounting practices and statutory compliance and experience dealing with regulatory authorities in Pakistan, including tax authorities and EOBI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
• Handle tax compliance, including monthly, quarterly, and annual filings (Sales Tax, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.).
• Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage EOBI and other statutory contributions/registrations, ensuring timely payments and compliance.
• Liaise with relevant authorities for filing, queries, and inspections.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, payables, and receivables.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:

• Graduation
• Minimum 3-4 years of proven experience as an Accountant in a Private Limited Company.
• Strong knowledge of tax filings (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working with EOBI and other relevant authorities.
• Proficiency in Excel is a MUST
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Experience with payroll management and employee benefits compliance.
