Job Overview

Gilani Mobility Trading Co. LLC is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of corporate tax compliance and tax filing in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations, and supporting the company’s accounting and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and monitor corporate tax documentation and tax filings in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Handle VAT calculations, filing, and reconciliation.
• Maintain accounting records using Xero accounting system or other accounting software.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for management review.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, financial regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with management and external consultants regarding tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Monitor accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in corporate tax compliance and tax filing in the UAE.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Experience using accounting software (preferably Xero).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with UAE corporate tax regulations.
• Familiarity with financial compliance requirements for UAE businesses.
• Candidates who are currently residing in the UAE will be preferred.
