The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department (the “Department”) is seeking to recruit an Accountant at Execution Affairs at the Support Services Directorate to perform duties relevant to accounting in relation to judgments and writs of execution in a manner that contributes to ensuring compliance with financial laws and bylaws applicable in the Government of Dubai.
Qualifications
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To review statements of execution in terms of calculation according to judgments and the other writs of execution.
- To recalculate and review the financial values associated with the execution.
- To follow up the paid amounts in the execution files, remaining amounts and financial transfers and review electronic registers that include money movements associated with the execution.
- To review the submitted requests and installment plans, submit alternative plans and follow up the payment procedures.
- To prepare the financial section of internal statistics associated with the execution.
- To check that the amounts of execution are correct and the refund requests for excess amounts if the defendant submitted a request in this regard; and
- To prepare and submit periodic financial reports associated with the execution.
Academic Qualifications and Years of Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Bachelor of Accounting.
Technical and Behavioral Competencies:
- Familiarity with judgments analysis in terms of calculation.
- The ability to work as one team and effective communication with their superiors and colleagues of the Department.
- The ability to deal with workload.
- The ability of time management, planning and organisation.
- The ability of innovation and future foresight.
- Computer literacy.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
