- Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
- Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
- Managing income and expenditure accounts
- Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
- Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status
- Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
- Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company
Core Responsibilities
- Inventory & Cost Control: Track inventory levels, minimize waste, and calculate accurate food and beverage costs.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, monthly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss (P&L) statements for different restaurant outlets.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage vendor invoices, verify supplier pricing, and handle supplier payments.
- Revenue Auditing: Audit daily sales, payment methods, and bank deposits to ensure accuracy.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and forecasting expenditures.
