Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with relevant laws, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions (A/P, A/R, payroll, ledger entries, etc.)
• Prepare budget forecasts and manage cash flow
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing
• Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Prepare financial statements and reports (P&L, balance sheet, etc.)
• Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure all entries are accurate
• Coordinate audits and assist with audit preparations
• Develop internal financial controls and processes
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CA preferred)
• Proven experience as an accountant (2+ years preferred)
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Experience in the travel industry is a plus
• Knowledge of local tax and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs65,000.00 per month
