Accountant (Male)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the school’s financial operations with accuracy and integrity. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven accounting experience, preferably in an educational institution or a similar setup. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliances, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions including ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, statements, and reports.
• Oversee fee collection, staff salaries, vendor payments, and petty cash management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as TDS, GST, PF, ESI, and Income Tax filings.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions and records.
• Support the management with timely financial analysis and reports for decision-making.
• To Visit banks/CBSE/DTOS and other places as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in accounting (school/educational sector experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally ERP, MS Excel, etc.).
• Good understanding of statutory compliances and financial regulations.
• Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
• Should have own Vehicle (Motor Cycle/Scooter)

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
