Accountant with Relevant Pharmaceutical Experience

Job Summary

An Accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves preparing financial statements, conducting audits, managing budgets, and advising on financial strategies to support the organization's financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and provide variance analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns, including VAT, and stay updated on tax regulations to maintain compliance.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
• Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards, including GAAP or IFRS, and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing insights to management for informed decision-making.
• System Management: Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to manage financial data, ensuring data integrity and efficiency in financial operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
