Purpose of the role


Lockton are actively seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to support the efficient day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department, specifically within the IBA Finance function. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial processing, timely reconciliations, and effective credit control, contributing to the smooth running of internal and client-facing financial activities


Your Responsibilities


• Manage daily financial operations including credit control, payment allocations, and account reconciliations.

• Support the IBA Finance team in maintaining accurate records of client and insurer accounts. • Follow-up on Producer’s overaged commission payables. • Reconciliation of Clients, Underwriters and IBA accounts.

• Assist in resolving account discrepancies and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding balances.

• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial transactions.

• Maintain compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

• Contribute to process improvements and support ad hoc finance projects as required.

• Maintain good insurer broker relationship in respect of the accounting functions.


Required Qualifications


• Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers, and associates.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

• A working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software.

• Ability to manage time, prioritize and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.

• A thorough understanding of and adherence to Lockton standards and procedures.

• Protects the confidentiality of information learned by performing position duties.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
