The Kendra Scott Summer Internship Program offers a hands-on experience inside our rapidly growing multi-category fashion lifestyle brand. We value you. In our program, we are dedicated to shaping your unique interests and career aspirations, equipping you for success in your career and life.


Basics

  • The Kendra Scott Internship experience is a 9-week, paid program with the requirement to be in Austin, TX. The internship will begin on June 1st and end July 30th.
  • This is a full-time, 40/hour a week, in person opportunity. This program will be offered at $17/hour.
  • Please apply to only one internship position that you are most interested in pursuing.
  • Sponsorship and Relocation assistance is not currently provided.
  • The deadline for internship applications is November 23, 2025, at 11:59 pm PST.
  • Candidates will be informed of their status throughout our process, with final offers being extended in December 2025.

Position Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team to support our rapidly growing business! Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Accounting Intern will assist with various projects across the accounting function. Key responsibilities include fixed assets accounting, lease accounting, balance sheet account reconciliations, preparing reports, and supporting month-end close activities. During the internship, you will gain exposure to multiple software applications such as the Oracle Fixed Assets System, AMT, and Coupa. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the review and recording of asset additions, disposals, and transfers.

  • Help calculate and verify monthly depreciation.

  • Assist in reconciling the general ledger accounts.

  • Support the preparation of journal entries related to lease accounting (e.g., right-of-use assets, lease liabilities, interest, and amortization).

  • Support the accounting team in ad-hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks.


Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A desire to learn more in the accounting space; accounting or finance majors preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, strong attention to detail and highly organized
