Accounting Manager

A well-established local company in Southeast Kansas is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. This position plays a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the organization and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a stable environment where accuracy, organization, and follow-through matter.

The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank and account reconciliations. This role is responsible for preparing monthly financial reports, managing end-of-month closing processes, assisting with budgeting, and providing timely financial information to leadership to support business decisions.

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of accounting experience and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. The ideal applicant is highly organized, attentive to detail, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working independently. An associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
