Accounting Manager

Louis Gelder & Sons is looking for a reliable, detail oriented Accounting Manager. This role plays an important part in keeping the business organized, accurate, and running smoothly. Our company has been proudly serving farming, construction and landscaping needs since 1910.

This full time position needs a mature person that is capable of performing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger analysis, payroll, verifying accounting functions, customer transactions, internal documentation, and sales transactions. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently in a small business environment where accuracy and communication are critical.

• Manage invoicing, billing, data entry
• Process equipment sales
• Understanding journal entry analysis
• Manage records and internal documentation
• Backup phones and assist customers if needed
• Work closely with management and sales departments
• Able to work independently
• Proficient in Excel
• Be able to type basic business letter with enclosures and attachments

• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in an office or small business environment
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with invoicing, billing, payment processing, and account reconciliation
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Dependable, trustworthy, and professional in handling confidential information

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
