Accounting Manager (Part-Time)

About the Role

I am looking for a highly qualified, dependable financial professional to take full ownership of my business’s books and financial health. This isn't just a data-entry role; I need someone who stays ahead of the numbers, keeps everything current, and can sit down with me once a week to review our standing.

I am looking for a "partner in the numbers"—someone who is more qualified than a standard bookkeeper and can provide the oversight and accuracy of an accounting manager. Being local to the Crowley/Burleson area is a huge plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Maintenance: Keep all books current and accurate (A/R, A/P, and Bank Recs).
• Weekly Reviews: Meet with me in person in Crowley once a week to review financials and align on the upcoming week’s priorities.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L and Balance Sheets that are clean, accurate, and ready for review.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and provide early alerts on any trends or issues.
• Compliance: Ensure all sales tax, payroll, and 1099s are handled correctly and on time.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting management experience.
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of [Insert Software, e.g., QuickBooks Online] and a strong understanding of GAAP.
• Communication: Ability to explain financial data in plain English during our weekly meetings.
• Location: Must live in or near Crowley, TX, and be available for regular in-person collaboration.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
