Accounting Specialist III

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Accounting Specialist III role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality financial and operational support. Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Review invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance.
Support payroll processing and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment issues.
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records.
Assist with audits by providing required documentation and support.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation efforts.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid- to large-sized organization.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
