Accounting Specialist III

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Accounting Specialist III role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality financial and operational support. Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Review invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment issues.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records.
  • Assist with audits by providing required documentation and support.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid- to large-sized organization.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
