Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accounts & Finance to support day-to-day accounting operations, vendor/customer coordination, invoicing, payment follow-ups, and basic financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong command of accounting basics, good Excel skills, and can handle multiple tasks across group companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting entries (sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments).
- Prepare and manage sales invoices, purchase invoices, debit/credit notes, and supporting documentation.
- Handle banking tasks: deposits, online transfers, bank reconciliation, and petty cash management.
- Assist in monthly closing (ledger scrutiny, expense posting, stock/asset records where applicable).
- Manage vendor payments and follow-up on approvals, bills, and payment schedules.
- Coordinate with customers for payment follow-ups and maintain receivables aging.
- Assist in preparation of tax-related documentation (Sales Tax/PRA, WHT, etc.) and maintain filing record.
- Maintain proper recordkeeping: invoices, delivery challans, PO/GRN, expense bills, and contracts.
- Support finance team in preparing basic reports:
- Receivables/Payables summaries
- Cash flow tracking
- Expense analysis
- Work closely with operations/sales teams for documentation, delivery evidence, and billing confirmation.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and documentation standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Education: B.Com / BBA (Finance) / ACCA (part-qualified) / CA-Inter (preferred) / equivalent.
- Experience: 1–3 years in accounts/finance (fresh candidates with strong skills may also apply).
- Good command of MS Excel (especially formulas, filters, reconciliation).
- Familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks / Peachtree / ERP is a plus).
- Understanding of Pakistan taxation basics (PRA/Sales Tax, WHT) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, record management, and follow-up discipline.
- Good communication skills (email/WhatsApp coordination with vendors/customers).
