Job Responsibilities Summary:

The L1 Accountant will support daily accounting functions including data entry,

invoice processing, reconciliations, and compliance checks. This is an entry-level

position designed for individuals with basic accounting knowledge and a strong

willingness to learn and grow in a structured finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

 Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the general

ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

 Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely reconciliation of

bank statements

 Manage revenue recognition for SaaS-based models, including MRR/ARR,

deferred revenue, and contract-based billing cycles

 Process vendor invoices, monitor organizational expenses, and ensure

adherence to internal financial policies

 Collaborate closely with the sales and customer success teams to track

invoicing, payment collections, and renewals

 Support timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings

and assist in financial reporting

 Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and

support in preparing documentation for statutory audits

 Continuously improve internal financial controls, systems, and accounting

procedures

 Utilize accounting software and integrated tools (e.g., Zoho Books, Razorpay,

etc.) to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications & Skills

 Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping

 Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Indian tax laws

 Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

 Good written and verbal communication skills

 Attention to detail and accuracy

 Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team
