Accounts & Billing Executive

Responsibilities:

• Invoicing & Billing: Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices, ensuring correct application of GST, hallmarking fees, and promotional discounts as per company policy. All billing must comply with regulatory standards.
• Payment Processing: Handle all forms of customer payments, including cash, cards, UPI, and bank transfers. Maintain precise transaction records in the POS system and reconcile daily sales with the accounts department.
• Customer Service: Serve as the point of contact for all billing-related inquiries. Clearly explain invoice details, cost breakdowns, and company policies to customers. Collaborate with the sales team for a smooth customer experience.
• Reporting & Documentation: Manage daily billing logs and prepare sales reports. Assist in providing data for audits and inventory management. Ensure all billing records are securely filed and maintained.
• Compliance & Verification: Adhere to strict protocols for verifying product details, including weight, certificates, and barcodes before billing. Identify and report any billing discrepancies or potential fraud.
• Team Support: Work with the accounts team to reconcile payments. Assist in training new employees on billing procedures and provide support to front-office staff during peak business hours.

Skills/ Requirements:

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of billing experience, ideally within the jewellery retail industry.
• Languages: Must be fluent in spoken Hindi / Gujarati with a functional command of English.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with POS/billing software, MS Excel, and knowledgeable about GST billing procedures.
• Personal Attributes: High attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, excellent customer service skills, and unquestionable honesty and integrity.
• Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with jewellery industry norms, including weights, purity standards, and hallmarking, will be a significant advantage.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
