Accounts Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Data Analyst to support the Finance & Accounts department through accurate financial reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate must have strong command over reporting tools, advanced MS Excel skills, and hands-on experience with Power BI and financial data analysis. The candidate should also be capable of performing bank reconciliations and preparing management reports for decision-making purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and analytical reports for management.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and MIS reports using MS Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools.
• Analyze financial data trends and provide insights to improve business performance.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Extract, clean, and organize accounting data from ERP systems and other databases.
• Monitor financial KPIs and prepare variance analysis reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting records.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong command of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, Charts, Formulas, Dashboards).
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and financial reporting tools.
• Good understanding of bank reconciliation and accounting processes.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial data extraction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle large volumes of financial data with accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and deadline management.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Analytics.
• Additional certifications in Data Analytics, Power BI, or Advanced Excel will be preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–3years of relevant experience in Accounts, Finance Reporting, or Data Analysis roles.
