Accounts Executive

Job Summary:

The candidate will act as the first point of contact for employee-related financial queries, including provident fund, payroll, tax deductions, loans, and expense reimbursements. This role involves clear communication of financial and HR policy matters, proactive coordination with internal departments, and ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial contact for employee inquiries related to:

    • Provident Fund (PF): withdrawal status, balance checks, and statement issuance

    • Loan and advance policies (e.g., car loans, emergency loans) and related entitlements

    • Salary withholding tax queries and annual tax computation clarifications

    • Salary disbursement timelines and issue resolution

    • Travel advance issuance and tracking settlement status

    • Reimbursement claims (travel, medical, general expenses)

  • Translate financial and HR policies into clear, employee-friendly communication.

  • Track and follow up on outstanding travel advances to ensure timely settlement by employees.

  • Liaise with Payroll, HR, and Treasury teams to resolve employee financial queries efficiently and accurately.

  • Maintain records of frequently asked questions and contribute to internal knowledge bases and FAQs.

  • Ensure timely response and resolution in line with defined Service-Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Comply with all relevant tax laws and internal financial guidelines in employee interactions.

  • Identify recurring query patterns and support the implementation of process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance operations, payroll, or employee support preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
