Job Summary

The Account Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely processing of invoices and reconciliations. The role plays a key part in supporting the company’s financial health while ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain all financial transactions in the accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or similar).
  • Assist in payroll preparation and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare and process invoices and other assigned accounting tasks.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent).
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, ERP, Tally, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
