Accounts Executive

Position Overview

We seek a competent and trustworthy Accounts Executive to independently manage the books of accounts for a Family Office. The ideal candidate must have strong accounting fundamentals, hands on ERP experience and the ability to prepare financial statements, including Profit & Loss, independently and accurately. This role requires discretion, integrity, financial discipline, and the ability to manage end to end accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently maintain complete books of accounts for the Family Office.
• Manage day to day accounting transactions including receipts, payments, bank entries and journal postings.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual expense statements and financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny on a regular basis.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of all financial transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks when required.
• Monitor cash flows and provide financial insights to the family/principal.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (ACCA/CA Inter preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Family Accountant or handling personal/family books independently.
• Additional 2 years of experience in a structured corporate or large organization environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Hands on experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally or similar).
• Proven ability to prepare and interpret P&L statements independently.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, ledger management and financial controls.
