Position: Accounts & Human Resources Officer
Department: Administration
Reporting To: Finance & Administration Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accounts & Human Resources Officer to manage day-to-day accounting operations and HR administrative functions. The role ensures financial accuracy, payroll efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective workforce administration.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger
  • Prepare monthly financial and expense reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform bank reconciliations and petty cash control
  • Prepare payroll calculations and related documentation
  • Prepare VAT returns and support internal and external audits
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and tax consultants

Human Resources

  • Maintain employee records, including bank accounts and loans
  • Coordinate recruitment administration and onboarding processes
  • Prepare employment contracts and offer letters
  • Monitor attendance, leave, overtime, and payroll inputs
  • Maintain performance appraisal records
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Maintain training records and employee certifications

Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and HR information
  • Support audits and government submissions
  • Coordinate visa, work permit, and renewal documentation

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
  • Payroll accuracy and compliance
  • Audit results and documentation completeness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Human Resources
  • Professional certifications are an added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in accounting and HR administration
  • Experience in oil & gas or industrial services is preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong accounting and payroll knowledge
  • Good understanding of labor laws
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
