Accounts Management Officer

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will require a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments
  • Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate records
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees
  • Prepare financial reports as needed for management review
  • Maintain organized financial files and documentation for audits
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
  • Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of debits and credits, general ledger entries, and account reconciliation
  • Familiarity with public accounting, governmental accounting, or corporate accounting is a plus
  • Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
